After all, that is the natural instinct at such times: to lie in bed all day and do nothing. But the fact remains that there can be nothing worse for your mental health than this practice. It is so because lying in bed all day will give more time to think about what you are going through, thus making things even worse.

At such times, it is advisable for you to simply leave the confines of your home and see the world. From waterfronts to seawalls to beaches to parks, there are several places that you can choose as your destination.

These places are just downright relaxing, meaning that they will help in making you feel good from the inside. These places form a barrier of sorts, keeping negative thoughts from entering your mind.

However, what are you supposed to do if the urge to lie down in your blanket is a bit too strong? Well, in such a scenario, you could consider taking your blanket to such a location and lying down there, instead of your mundane bedroom.
