People ask us what Atlas actually is. Not the pitch — the architecture.
Here's the real shape of it.
Atlas is the orchestrator. C-Suite is a team of specialist agents that Atlas coordinates. The whole thing runs on the edge, talks to you through Telegram, and wakes up specific specialists based on what you ask. That sentence is the entire system in one line. Everything else is how it's implemented.
Start with the input layer. Telegram is the primary interface because it's everywhere. Your phone, your desktop, your tablet — Telegram is already there, already authenticated, already persistent. You don't log in. You don't open a web app. You send a message to your bot and the system responds. That's the UX. Simple on purpose.
When a message hits the bot, it lands on a Cloudflare Worker — edge runtime, no cold starts, global. The worker's job is to parse the message, identify intent, and route it to Atlas. Routing is the first interesting piece. Not every message needs the full stack. "What's on my calendar today" is a one-line lookup. "Plan next week's content, coordinate with our research on our top three competitors, and draft launch copy" is a multi-agent orchestration. Atlas decides which shape applies.
Atlas itself is a model with a system prompt, a memory store, and a toolbox. The model is swappable — we run Opus 4.7 for reasoning-heavy work and route simpler queries to faster, cheaper models. The memory store is Upstash Redis for session context and Turso for long-term facts about you — your projects, your preferences, your open threads. The toolbox is the set of things Atlas can actually do: call a specialist, fetch data, send an email, update a calendar, commit a file.

Research pulls external information. It has web search, RSS feeds, scraping access, and a curated set of industry sources. When Atlas needs facts — competitor pricing, news events, technical docs — Research goes out and finds them. Research never writes customer-facing copy. That's not its job.
Comms handles messaging and positioning. It has access to your brand guidelines, voice notes, prior campaigns, and the customer profiles you've built. When Atlas needs to frame something, Comms drafts it. When a social post needs to sound like you, Comms is the agent that checks the voice.
Content is the production layer. Long-form, scripts, carousels, blog bodies, email sequences. Content takes a brief from Comms and outputs the actual deliverable. It's instructed to follow format, length, and the specific structural rules of each channel. Content is where the words come out.
Ops handles scheduling, sequencing, and coordination. If an action spans days — a launch, a campaign, a product update — Ops holds the plan and pings you when it's time to do the next step. Ops is also the agent that manages the handoffs between the other three.
The message hop looks like this. You text Telegram. Telegram webhooks into Cloudflare Workers. The Worker authenticates, parses, and calls Atlas. Atlas reasons about the task, decides which specialists to involve, and dispatches parallel requests. Each specialist runs in its own Worker context with its own tools. Results come back to Atlas, which synthesizes them, writes a response, and sends it back through Telegram. You see one coherent answer. Underneath, three or four agents just coordinated to produce it.
The state layer matters. Short-term state — what we're talking about right now — lives in Upstash. Long-term state — what we talked about last week, what projects are open, what the brand voice is — lives in Turso. Files, assets, and attachments live in Cloudflare R2. Everything is edge-adjacent, so round-trip latency stays low even when the agents are doing real work.

One architectural decision that took a while to land: the specialists don't share memory directly. They share memory through Atlas. If Research finds something Comms needs, it sends the finding back to Atlas and Atlas relays it. This sounds inefficient but it's the opposite. Shared memory between agents causes context bloat — every agent ends up carrying every other agent's history. Routing through Atlas keeps each specialist focused on what it's actually good at.
Another decision: everything is stateless per-request. When a message comes in, the Worker spins up, handles the request, and exits. State is fetched from Upstash and Turso on demand. This pattern is what makes the system run on free and near-free infrastructure at scale. There's no persistent server to pay for. You pay per message, not per hour of uptime.
The thing this architecture gives you that a single-chatbot approach doesn't: parallel thinking. Three specialists can work on different facets of a problem simultaneously. You get the output of three brains in the time a single agent would produce one answer. That's not a small gain. It's a structural advantage.
What it costs to run: infrastructure is tens of dollars a month at the scale of a single power user. The dominant cost is LLM inference, which scales with usage. A heavy day of agent coordination might spend $2 to $5 of model spend. A quiet day is pennies. The free SaaS stack carries the infrastructure. Inference is the only variable.
