Do I need a business idea to get started?

No. The free Readiness Score tool will tell you exactly where you are — whether you have no idea, a half-baked idea, or a business that's already making money but not enough. The free tier is specifically designed for people at the earliest stage: use the tools, read the blog, download a guide, and start getting clear before you spend a dollar. You don't need an idea to figure out your stage. You just need to start.

What are the digital products and how do I access them?

There are 15 digital products covering topics like pricing your services, writing for LinkedIn, validating your offer, managing client relationships, and building recurring revenue. They're in PDF and template format — built to be used in an afternoon, not studied for a semester. Individual products are $27–$39 each. Builder tier subscribers get access to all 15 as part of their plan. When you subscribe or purchase, you get instant access through your account dashboard.

Are the products updated over time?

Accepted Answer

Yes. When a product gets updated with new frameworks or current data, you get the updated version automatically — no repurchase, no upgrade fee. Builder and above subscribers also get access to new products when they drop, at no extra cost. The library grows. Your subscription price doesn't.

Can I buy individual products or do I need a subscription?

Both options exist. Individual products are available at /products for $27–$39 each. If you think you'll use more than one, the Builder plan ($27/mo or $22/mo annual) gives you all 15 plus the community and newsletter archive for the same price as a single product. Most people who buy two individual products end up subscribing. The math is pretty obvious.

Do the products work for any type of business?

They're built for service-based solopreneurs and early-stage digital businesses — coaches, consultants, freelancers, creators, and people building digital products. If you sell physical inventory or run a traditional retail operation, some parts will apply and others won't. The tools (Revenue Leak Finder, Pricing Calculator) are broad enough to help most businesses. The strategy products are most relevant if you're selling knowledge, skills, or services.

What's your refund policy?

Digital products: 7-day refund if you haven't downloaded or accessed the product. If you've opened it, the policy doesn't apply — you already have the value. Subscriptions: you can cancel anytime and your access continues until the end of the billing period. Founders Club: because it involves direct 1:1 time, there's no refund after the first two sessions. If you have a specific concern, email italo@mentorme.com directly — he reads it.

What exactly do I get in the Founders Club?

Every week for 12 months, you and Italo get on a call. Your business. Your specific numbers. Your specific roadblocks. Not a generic coaching framework — an actual review of what you're building, what's working, what's broken, and what to do next. You also get everything in the Accelerator tier, a founding member badge and directory listing, direct Telegram access to Italo between calls, and lifetime community access. This isn't coaching in the general sense. It's a dedicated co-pilot for 12 months.

Is $11,000 really worth it?

That depends entirely on what you do with it. If you show up to every call, implement what we work on, and do the hard parts — for most people, 12 months of weekly 1:1 work translates to $50k–$200k+ in additional revenue, or the difference between a stalled idea and a real business. If you sign up and don't show up, $11,000 was too much. The investment is really a filter. The people who can see the ROI are the people who belong here.

What's the application process?

You fill out the application at /founders. Italo reads every application personally. If there's a fit, you'll get a direct reply within 72 hours to set up a 30-minute call to make sure it's the right time and the right match — for both sides. There's no hard sell on that call. If it's not the right fit right now, Italo will tell you that and point you to what actually is.

How many people are in the Founders Club?

The number is intentionally small. Weekly 1:1s with real depth are not scalable in the traditional sense — Italo only takes on as many members as he can give genuine attention to. This is not a cohort of 200 people with a 'community call' as the core deliverable. The roster stays manageable by design. Apply early if you're serious — spots open when members complete their 12 months or choose to leave.

What if I can't afford the full $11,000?

Payment plans are available for qualified applicants — mention it in your application. But if you're at a stage where $11,000 is a truly painful stretch, the honest answer is: you might not be ready for the Founders Club yet. The Accelerator at $97/mo is built exactly for that gap. How does the group coaching work?

Group coaching runs in 8-week cohorts with a focused theme — pricing, client acquisition, offer design, content strategy, etc. Each cohort has a defined curriculum and live group sessions where Italo works through real examples with real members. Cohorts are intentionally small enough that you're not just watching — you're participating. After 8 weeks, the next cohort starts with a new theme.

When are the live masterclasses?

One live masterclass per month, every month you're an Accelerator or Founders Club member. Specific dates are announced monthly in the community and via email. They're recorded — if you can't make it live, the recording goes into your archive within 24 hours. Time zones are rotated periodically so members across different regions get the early slot.

Can I watch recordings if I miss a live session?

Yes. Every masterclass is recorded and added to the archive, accessible in your dashboard under Accelerator tier and above. Currently there are 6 recordings in the archive. As more masterclasses happen, the archive grows — and you keep access to every recording from the moment you subscribed forward.

How many people are in the coaching groups?

Cohorts are capped to keep conversations real. The target is under 20 per cohort — enough diversity to get interesting perspectives, small enough that Italo can actually know who's in the room and what they're working on. This is not a webinar with 500 people in a Zoom room.

Are these US-focused or available internationally?

Accepted Answer

Available internationally. The frameworks, tools, and coaching apply regardless of geography — the core problems of pricing, client acquisition, and building recurring revenue don't change based on which country you're in. Live sessions are in English. Time zone rotation ensures international members get a reasonable hour on a regular basis.

What's included in the community?

Builder and above can post, reply, and participate in discussions. Accelerator and Founders Club members get direct access to Italo in the community space. Is there a private Slack or Discord?

No. There's a dedicated community space built into the platform — not a third-party app you have to add to your notification pile. Slack and Discord are noisy by design. The MentorMe community is intentionally calmer: structured by topic, searchable, and actually useful when you need it.

What's the newsletter like?

One email per week. No guest posts, no sponsored sections, no AI-generated filler. Italo writes it. It covers what he's seeing in his own businesses, what's working for members, and one specific thing you can implement that week. Most newsletters are under 600 words. The archive is available to Builder tier and above — everything since the first issue.

How do I cancel if I'm not satisfied?

Cancel any time in your account settings — no chat required, no 'please speak to a retention specialist.' Your access continues through the end of your paid period. If you have a specific problem, email italo@mentorme.com before canceling — a lot of issues are fixable quickly and he'd rather know about it than lose you.
